Oregon State ends 23-game Pac-10 skid (AP)

Roeland Schaftenaar's 3-pointer sent the game into overtime and Oregon State went on to beat Southern Cal 62-58 on Sunday, snapping a 23-game Pacific-10 Conference losing streak. Schaftenaar tied a career-high with 18 points for the Beavers (6-6, 1-1), who erased a 15-point second-half deficit. Calvin Haynes added 16 points, including four points in overtime.

Marquette rolls past Cincinnati 84-50 (AP)

Jerel McNeal scored 26 points and hit a career-high seven 3-pointers as Marquette rolled to an easy 84-50 victory over Cincinnati on Sunday. Wesley Matthews added 17 points for Marquette (13-2, 2-0 Big East), which won its first two Big East Conference games for the first time since joining the conference in 2005.
