Gustav cancels St. John’s Cancun trip (AP)

The unpredictable path of Gustav, the storm that has killed dozens, forced St. John's officials to cancel the basketball team's Labor Day weekend trip to Cancun, Mexico. The school said Thursday the five-day trip that would have featured two games against international teams will not be rescheduled, but the program will consider options for international travel before the 2009-10 season.
